Our China Lapsang Souchong has a dark and smoky flavor that tea drinkers with a sophisticated palate will love. Legend has it that this tea, hailing from the Fujian Province, was the result of accidentally drying out the leaves over pine fires. The tea was rejected and eventually ended up being traded with the Dutch, who sang its praises and requested more. Thus, this unforgettably peaty, pungent tea came into being.
